Overheard in a popular gentrified neighbourhood of Halifax, in a hip new shop for privileged folks to splurge on novelty items:
Server: “White or whole wheat bread?”
Dumb white girl decked out in Artizia and Lululemon: “Um, I’ll go ghetto today and get white bread”
Ummm excuse me?

What the hell is “ghetto bread”? Do I even want to know where this is going?
She said, “I’ll go ghetto today and get white bread”. Learn to listen and comprehend you insufferable plebe.
But what is “ghetto bread”? Is that just a slang term for white bread? I’ve heard a lot of things before but never that phrase, or “I’ll go ghetto and get white bread”, either. I’ll go search it up on Urban Dictionary, I guess.
My comment was directed at OB, not you Jeff Jeff. I was making fun of them for getting offended that a white girl said the word ghetto. I have no idea what ghetto bread is but I know the sounds people make when they’re walking around with a stick up their arse.
Ten-to-one it was the mother of a hipster.
@ LaciG Sorry, my bad.
