On yesterday’s paper you can see pictures of all the BLACK people who commit crimes…and stupid crime at that: a stupid sherif presumably selling dope, a fucked up guy shooting in North Preston, and you have the nerve to go all the way to the US to find the picture of a Black lady presumably killed his quadrapledic kid. Meanwhile, what about the White parents killing their kid? Not to mention the fucker who killed all his 3 children in BC? WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TRYING TO DO!

I’ve lived in many other countries in my life. The news is ALWAYS about the minorities because nobody wants to think they have anything in common with a criminal. I don’t see it going away until all races are considered equal (which, as much as I wish to be true, doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon).
Stop trying to connect with the media, it’s never going to represent what YOU think, only what the majority thinks — because that’s where the money is. YAY world!!! Ain’t it great?

I am fairly sure that all ethnicities/races have committed crimes at some point or another, but because of a ban on race based statistics it’s hard to accurately say who did what to who and when.
It is a fact that the sheriff in this case was black, as were the scallywags who did the shooting in Preston.
I think OP should read this, and realize that PC may, or may not be, the reason for the media reporting things as they do.

The story made me sick. Yet, at the same time, I didn’t hear about it.
When I lived in the Northend, we would watch the news crews interviewing people after an event, and we would bet on which person would actually get on the air. We all knew that it would be the most degenerate person available–it was just a matter of who looked and sounded the most backward, uncouth and dirty that night.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked to find out about that too jamesK. Kind of like the how the Irish immigrants to North America were hated originally.
As much as it’s about race though, it’s also about location. Crimes still happen in “good” communities like Bedford, but we never hear about it. We only hear about Spryfield, North Preston, North End Halifax and Dartmouth it seems.
I already have enough beef with the media for focusing only on the bad stuff, and not on the good stories. But, if it bleeds, it leads…

I got the impression that the OP was complaining specifically about yesterday’s paper and comparing which criminals did and didn’t have their photos displayed. Whether that was intentional or an accident, who knows.
Saying they want white people to commit more crimes is a bit ridiculous when they already listed off crimes committed by whites. Learn to read maybe?
First of all, the OP’s lack of proper sentences and grammar made this very hard to read, this is the first sign that he/she doesn’t know what he/she is talking about. Secondly, I will admit that the media is biased, we all know that, but it certainly can’t be helped that a lot of crimes are committed by black people. Not a racial comment, strictly a statistic. Sure lots of white people, and people of all races for that matter, commit crimes too, but don’t blame the media for making minorities look bad by reporting on a crime (even if you think selling dope is a ‘stupid crime’) that was committed by a black person. Try blaming the guy who committed the crime for being a disgrace to the rest of his race.
I think his point was that we all look at photos before headlines and articles and when you only have photos of black criminals even though articles about white crime are there too, you have to wonder if there is some kind of bias. Maybe there is. Maybe dude was just having a shitty day. I don’t have much of an opinion either way – but I think the meaning was clear despite the bad grammar etc, or at least it was to me.
I’m not sure why someone needs to be accountable to “his race.” I’m curious why the assumption that black people somehow have to try harder to be good people than whites do? People who think blacks are inherently more likely to commit crimes don’t think it simply because black people commit crimes, but because they are weak minded individuals who buy into stereotypes and are all too eager to set themselves apart from “those people.”
OP, there’ll probably be plenty of pictures of the two from Liverpool and the others once they’ve been hauled into court or somesuch. They have to be in custody before the photographers can nail them.
