btw, ever been arrested by halifax police for riding your bike in the ‘wrong’ direction on a one-way street (2am on a sunday morning)? i have… and the uncivilized twat felt duty-bound to take me down to the station and lock me up for a while… just because he was an authoritarian prick with a badge and nothing better to do. that’s halifax police for ya. they get no respect because they don’t GIVE any to the people who employ them!
