This, is a bad thing because for one, he already has a girlfriend and two, is 5 years older than me. Now I’ll never see him again and we had so much in common. We flirted badly and hopelessly, loved the same music, and shared the same views of the world. I can’t find anyone else that’s the same as him. He was exactly what I was looking for.

Broken heart

  1. Wtf? How is this a bitch? I’m gonna assume you’re either in high school or college since you sound like you’re in the death throes of puppy love.

Go get drunk and pig out with some friends or something, you’ll be fine once the hormones wear off.

  2. Welcome to real life. Hate to break it to ya, but it only gets worse from here. The older you get, the smaller the single men/women pool gets, and most of the time those you think you’re “perfect” for or you think are “perfect” for you are either taken, gay or not interested in you.

  3. Ah, the Mr. Right argument. He does exist, and usually, you ladies don’t see him because he’s the guy at the back, a little overweight, maybe looking a little disheveled, because he’s not really looking either. You turn your nose at him because he seems uninteresting, and he’s not conventionally attractive. It’s a vicious circle. BH— you’re young, don’t worry, and just take your time.

  4. Dr Fever, i think you said it best.
There is someone out there who is perfect for you, and he’ll probably come along when you least expect it, or aren’t trying to find him. I know, there’s nothing worse than a broken heart..and when you lose someone you care about it feels like your world is falling apart. But it will get better..you just have to give yourself time, and like Dr. Fever said – you’re young. Enjoy life, and he’ll come along along eventually.

  5. I don’t think him having a girlfriend but still flirting “badly and hopelessly” with you is rly a good sign.

Dr. F, oftentimes I get attracted to unconventional looking people because I get to know their personality and I find it sexy, and then somehow the sexiness spreads to their body. It’s wierd. Just a getting older thing I guess.

  6. Dr Fever: some of us happen to LIKE the guy at the back who’s a little overweight and a bit disheveled!

  7. Then do something about it! I can’t stand girls who go on about “Mr. Right” and when an opportunity presents itself, you don’t do anything about it because you want him to do something about it. That’s a hard-core double standard, and it’s BS.

  8. Your perfect guy is 5 years older and involved with someone else? I see a lot of perfect guys in your future, hell, I’m probably your perfect guy too! Don’t be shy.

  9. This bitch sounds like people I know who every week it’s a new heartache, everything is a big drama, and they are somehow convinced they’ll never find anyone even though they are only like 22 yrs old and there are literally billions of people on the planet. Then again when I was 22 it was the same.
