This business won’t honour their warranty even though a reputable optometrist says the damage to my glasses is not normal for 1.5 yrs of use and that it ought to be covered! Call the BBB on them, go on Marketplace.
1.5 years is a long time. You wear them everyday. Next time go to one of those places that gives the second pair free. Then you will only have to buy them every 3 years.
i bought a pair a long time back, and cheap at 349 bucks. but only problem was, they were so fucking heavy. that why i wear the cheapie dollar store magnifiers. works just as good for reading as real glasses.
Go to the manager and if you don’t get satisfaction…keep going up the up the ladder.

A catch 22. You needed your glasses to read the fine print of the document needed to get your glasses.
Glasses don’t stop at $300, some sell for as much as $1200. Not every optical place is designed to compete with the franchises.
I’ve had glasses all my life, I know how to take care of them and never had to replace the actual glasses before my prescription changed and I’ve never had them so utterly scratched and pocked, it’s like looking though fog all the time. This place has an appalling reputation 98% of their reviews online are terrible, they have had multiple complaints to the BBB and were even sued and had his opticians licenses revoked. I uncovered this after I submitted my complaint. It’s an injustice that people are taken advantage of by unethical businesses.
