The Feds have one, the Province is getting one, and now, not before time, HRM are considering hiring one. They’re an expensive trinket, but if allowed to do their job without political interference, I’m sure they’ll save the taxpayers some money, and stop this city from being the laughing stock of Canada.
Some time ago The Coast reported on some councillors being too fond of booze, an MLA doing a runner after an accident, lately it’s a Mayor trying to “brass balls” his way through a “Concerts for Cash” scandal, and now a councillor has to resign from The Police Board for inappropriate remarks. Meanwhile, just up the street we have the Deputy Police Chief suspended with pay and under investigation that he may have lied under oath. As a taxpayer, might I be so crass as to ask what is going on in this province and city? —Basil Brush

this has been bugging me for some time now, and i mde it plain to both dexter and kelly in a mail that i sent out awhile back.
there is far to fucking much corruption in politricks, and there are far too many pigs at the trough. time to shave it down quite a bit, and get rid of the extra porkers.
its always gone on… its just now its popular to report on it, and with the rise of digital media, a story can blow up fast and it lasts forever online for easy reference in the future.
I am pretty much done with politics as of this month. Between The insanity in Parliament, DD putting on his glasses backward and BREAKING his promises, and PK trying to bluff his way through crap, I have finally realized they are all pieces of shit in the end.
