Yes, pink is most certainly in the rainbow, but you are wrong to place it next to the violet. Pink belongs near the red because the red mixed with clouds will produce pink. —Showing some pride in the rainbow

  1. So this is actually a really interesting conundrum that you stumbled into! The real problem with pink is…it doesn’t exit. Pink does not appear on the visible light spectrum and does not occur naturally in a rainbow. In order to be seen, pink needs red cones to fully react, and both green and blue cones to only partially activate in the eye. It’s an eye and brain perception thing. So really, pink could be smacked anywhere on the rainbow and be equally out of place. Fun facts!
