Thanks to the OP who posted about 18-somethings who can’t bike. I appreciate the distinction from bikers who have experience biking in cities and bother to learn road rules. As an experienced biker, I wish people would know how to drive! How do some of you get off with a license? Please refer to the road book you read 20 years ago about how cyclists, when on the road, are vehicles and you are NOT allowed to pass them if there isn’t space. I make a point of being aggressive on the road so you know what I am doing as a smaller vehicle. The gutter is dangerous in Halifax because of the road quality, so don’t cut me off and push me in it. Don’t expect me to speed up. Don’t slow down while I’m trying to make a left turn. Don’t do awkward pull overs that could cause me an accident. Don’t cut me off in the turning lane. Be a better biker and shut up. If you bike aggressively then accept any consequences that may happen as a result of being a fascist cyclist.
There should be a test for bikers to be able to bike on the road too.
If it is ok for you to be agressive while biking then why are you complaining about the cars that drive aggressively – why is it ok for one and not the other.
No one expects a bike to speed up. haha

Bullshit. I know a guy who bled out onto the street because some dumb cunt turned made a left turn at an intersection that he was riding through. He destroyed her windshield with his face. Want to see the pictures? It isn’t pretty.
You know what … I’m tired of this conversation. Drivers need to show more care and cyclists need to understand that you are at a much higher risk than the person in the car so also take care!

I wish you could get stickers , like they had on bombers & fighters in WW2.
So that everytime you take out a hazzard (like a bike) you get a reward & another sticker for your vehicle.
