  1. Damnit, I was going to go to Scotia Square tomorrow too! Please at least wait one day. Thank you.

Apparently, Scotia Square is the LTWWB/L secret hangout. I guess misery loves company, ehh?

  2. take 4 big white pills and chill the fuck out. i’m sending some help to you. they should be there with their nice jackets and butterfly nets in a short time.

  3. As long as Ray’s and the liquor store survive, fill your boots. I swear, if the liquor store burns down…

  4. That would be sweet if the liquor store burnt down, the bottles would crack, burst into flames. I’ll be looting Ray’s for his falalels and chicken…

  5. I remember seeing Star Wars 3 at Scotia Square. Such fond memories. Oh, and getting gay assed clothes at Randy River and Big Steel Man. yowsa!

  6. 1. if the liquor store burned down, the rest of the place would be fucked because that would be one hell of a raging fire.
    2. this bitch board would be a wasteland afterward… I think almost half of us work there.
    3. Sagi, please do let us know if you should ever fly off the handle and actually try it… gimme like 10 mins heads up cause I’ll need to sneak to lawtons to grab some marshmallows.
    4. or maybe just burn mama gratti’s down instead.

  7. Protective shield for Ray’s (love that man and his food), the LC (government milk store), and Taste of India.

  8. The protective shield should also be extended to include the Korean place. They are such lovely people running that shop, and the Seoul chicken they sell is soooooo good!

  9. I thought that place closed down in the 1980s. Who even shops there? What’s even in there? I thought it was all a call centre now for Bell/Aliant to scam customers out of more money.

  10. Well, if you lighting a fire, don’t bother with KFC- they’re already flaming there as we speak (no disrespect to my gay friends…….well, none intended anyway) but it’s true…

Sagi, you really should followup this bitch with one that narrows down the source of your bitching though! I mean not ALL Scotia Square contains is worth bitching about…. in fact, you should meet this awesome chick that works at Mama Gratti’s in the morning………………..

  11. Just had Soeul Chicken for lunch.

As for the Mama Gratti’s folks, they can stay with me.

We renact the opening scene of last week’s Caprica…

  12. TDF… don’t forget a copy of The Coast to go with that coffee……. ahh, now the morning is complete.

  13. Hehe. I didn’t think people would take it so literally! I should have worded it differently, perhaps. I’d actually really miss the food court too. Has anyone tried the new cafe? It looks tasty.

In short: yesterday was a bad day, but today is better. 😀

  14. I ate there yesterday for lunch and it was delicious. Had their lamb stew and it came with rice and a simple salad with a tasty vinaigrette dressing. It’s a little more than I normally pay for lunch (3 times more than my regular Mama’s lunch) but it’ll be a a nice treat every now and then……. glad to see things are better today :-B

  15. Yeah, price-wise it seems a bit steep for “food court” food, but it does look incredibly delicious. Eventually I will get around to trying it, but I always seem to be too busy.

And thanks. You’re pretty awesome yourself! ..Now to try and figure out which one you are. *ponder* 😛

  16. hahaha… I hope you have a lot of *pondering* time at your disposal. Tell u what- I’ll be in, as usual, tomorrow between 7 and 3. Now if THAT doesn’t give it away, you’re out of luck.

  17. haha… what? what’s with the complete and sudden change of identity? LOL. You just completely threw me off there for a sec… And I didn’t know you could do that!

  18. I can do anything I wanna, baby! Nah, I’ve actually been meaning to change it for a while. I never say anything here that I wouldn’t say to someone’s face, so it’s not anything like that — I just got bored of the name. Shrug.

Anyway, you can change your username and all of that in your profile settings. It’s pretty nifty.

  19. HAHAHA. Jonnoman. Do it. For serious. That would be hilarious. 🙂

    Stabbings?! *slowly inches away* Wahhh.

  20. Yeah “trinket, but then I would have to replace my really cool Super J shirt with an extremely normal, boring Superman shirt. I’ll stay as I am. btw… I think I am going to get a Super J shirt at the t-shirt store downstairs… and I’ll wear it around everywhere. Then, trinket, and only then shall you know my TRUE identity. I mean come on, how long was it before Lois Lane found out about Superman?

  21. Nooooooo..don’t burn my home away from home.I practically live at that mall..I honestly don’t know what i would do if Scotia Square was suddenly gone.Where on earth would I go to get my older, good looking business men fix every day?? I’de be lost I tell ya..LOST!Oh..and Paul,if your reading this…yes..I’m talking about you, only minus the suit.

  22. 2nd floor Duke St. entrance, opposite end of the mall from where the old food court and Dick Turpins were.

  23. I tried a smoothy from MG’s the other day. It was OK, but nothing to write home about. The woman working the smoothy station wasn’t very nice, either… not that she was mean, just not very nice, but mainly because she didn’t laugh at my stupid joke and made me feel like an idiot! Booo…

I was at SS again today like I said I’d be. Anybody see me?

  24. Tinket: It was a joke from the Stoopid German thread

zZz: Love the title, better than anything I can come up with now… But when I think of it, you’ll know!

  25. No worries Trink… I obviously spend TOO much time on here it passes the time for me while I’m at work; workin hard at hardly workin…
Then I come home to check for replies/new posts. Oi….

  26. I was there at about 3:30 pm today, but I had the smoothy at MG’s about two weeks ago. I made a stupid joke about the pineapple in the ice. I laughed, but she didn’t. Ohh well.

  27. I haven’t had a smoothie at MG’s yet, but I’m not usually too fond of the young lady who works at 2nd CP. She usually seems to have a big crank on. If you guys want great coffee, sandwiches and service you should try the shop that opened this past summer at the Granville St entrance of the CIBC building. They serve Java Blend coffee.

  28. I hate the Lawtons staff! Fuck, them old ladies should have married better! You ever notice the security chick on a Saturday? She looks sketchier than an actual shoplifter.
