If you spent less time drinking yourself into a drunken stupor downtown every weekend, maybe then you’d be able to pay your own rent, buy groceries, pay your cell bill, buy your pot, etc. No wonder guys dump you after a few dates… you’re a financial black hole. I agree 100% with Thomas. If you’re crying to your parents because you can’t make rent, yet were somehow able to go downtown drinking and you’re constantly applying for credit cards… you probably should do some financial evaluation. First things that come out of my cheque every week: rent, cat food, other bills. If I have some left over THEN I go have some fun.

I know a guy who fits this description, his mom finally cut him off ther other day, 25 years old.
He had been living the lifestyle of a rich man, had no job, goin out 3 or 4 nights a week, eating out every single meal, throwing money around to try and impress girls, all on his mother’s dime.. She’s not a rich woman either.
I work and I don’t go out that much and when I do I never spend more than a hundred bucks absolute maximum. This guy could have bought a house and probably a car with all the money he blew partying in the last 2 or 3 years.
He’s in for a hard reality check. As it stands now she still pays his rent and probably cell phone bill.

Luckily (IMO ) for me it isn’t the only time they call. But seeing as they are out on their own & in their late 20’s if they get stuck they always have me to fall back on….& I am perfectly OK with that !
