To the cop that gave me a speeding ticket for $395.50: Well my trial date was last week and it was definite I was going to lose four ridiculous points off my license for a period of two long years which means I couldn’t even fart the wrong way or I’d lose my license. It is a great use of tax payers’ dollars to have cops show up at these court hearings (not to mention all the other costs associated with running a court).

Due process man due process . Canada law under the CCC . So ummm if a cop says you did somethng – they have to prove that as much as your have the right to depend yourself .

Trees being clocked at 30 klms
Three lanes of traffic – cop on a bend . Now he clocks right lane speeder . Speeder takes the ramp. Car behind ( if the cop isn’t really looking that second ) gets the ticket .
Anyone think that that can’t happen ? Are the cops and they’re equipment 100% always right ? See . due process . Guilty or not , the cop has to show up and if he don’t , you beat it . Wasting noones money there if you ask me .
Most people showing up know they were speeding. They are just hoping the cop will not show up. Therefore, they are wasting tax dollars. I have no issue with people showing up when they’ve been wrongfully accused of speeding. I agree that that is what the system is for. I just wish so many people didn’t try to take advantage of the system. So many of our tax dollars go to everyday people scamming the system.
