Just drove thru the Windsor/Lady Hammond/Bedford Hwy intersection. I was in the inside lane on Windsor, turning left toward Bedford. OMG – the filling in a sandwich!, NO place to go, cars coming up on both sides and behind me. It’s the most ignorantly planned, hazardous intersection I’ve ever seen!
Called the police months ago, the best action seems to be NEGLIGENCE – no action! —Are you waiting until I’m the spread instead of the filling?

Yep, it really is bad planning. Had a few close calls there myself. Unfortunately the city’s response is that they don’t consider it a problem until it becomes an ‘accident hotspot’…
Remember – Do Not Enter Intersection Unless It Is Clear. Also don’t block driveways and business entrances.

If anyone else has a cost effective, logical engineering solution, I’m sure the HRM engineering department would love to have a professionally redesigned intersection free of charge…

of course, I’m never on windsor so maybe it’s rough on that side of the road.
