To be fair to OP, the shoulder along the 102 near the Dunbrack exit is very narrow. Depending on where they were when the wiper broke, I’d be hesitant to pull over.
Sounds like the only ignorant person here is you. You obviously have no idea how incredibly dangerous it is to drive in a rainstorm without wipers. The only responsible thing to do would have been to pull over to the side of the highway and wait for the rain to pass. You put your life and the lives of countless others in extreme danger by driving on the highway with an obstructed view.

To all you pathetic people claiming that its his problem … DID IT EVER OCCUR to you that maybe his wipers stopped working while he was en route? This happened to me once while I was traveling in the rain. I had to slow down, use my flashers and drive slow until the next exit where I could find a garage. HAVE SOME F’N COMMON SENSE!
