I am so tired on the bro political culture in Nova Scotia. Business jocks who proclaim they know what is best for us. The great dude that will ask you to say thank you for only kicking two teeth out. Stop it. You come from privilege. You have no clue what everyday poverty or racism looks like and you sure as hell won’t address it. You went to school with doctors so you get seen quickly. A food bank in your office when you can make actual policy decisions. Your social policies are nasty hazing and your sexism is profound. —Nerd Hope

BS, most times they’re more educated and have a greater overall picture of what needs to be done in the province. You really want some average joe that hasn’t a clue running the province? Here’s a shock, there’s a lot more issues with this place than your myopic view would suggest and having little or no education or exposure outside the place you live does not equate to success. Granted, the political choices we have are woefully inept at solving anything, but still, better than a HS dropout running the place.
I’m glad I see things like this more and more in the coast.
