How you continue to be in operation is beyond me. Sadly Ive had better service on Aeroflot. Do you realize how bad you have to be for Aeroflot to be better than you? —Whoosh

  1. Icarus’ wax wings were ranked higher than Air Canada – last time I travelled on one of their ancient aircrafts, I could hear the friggin’ bolts shaking when the plane started its engines. And all the flight attendants were toothless.

  2. I have traveled the world.
AC has the worst service of any (domestic or foreign) airline that I have experienced. I always get the feeling that I’m inconveniencing them by expecting them to do their jobs.
Is it just me, or do their employees always seem grumpy too?

  3. I always get the feeling something is gonna happen to the plane!
their employees seem grumpy because they aren’t given adequate tools and resources to work with.
I recently had some family members visit from the middle east. The return flight was Air Canada to Heathrow and on from there. Flight was at 11:30pm. They went through security, boarded the plane. Plane was delayed at the gate for about an hour. Finally started the journey and taxied on the tarmac getting ready for take off. Then stopped at the takeoff point for another hour, until the pilot announced that they’re going to taxi back to the gate because one of the engines is down! The plane had my dad and brother on it and they found out later after getting off the plane that the engine didn’t wrong from the first time they were held up at the gate! How the hell was this pilot attempting to taxi and takeoff boggles my mind! I’m just happy that he had conscience and didn’t take off!!
To add insult to injury, they left people stranded there! They gave credit towards a taxi but only provided those who were in transit with hotel vouchers! Anyone else had to find their own accommodations. That made it difficult for anyone vacationing here as they treated them as if they’re residents and they’re not!
In addition to that, they provided them with a toll free number and instructed them to call it and re-arrange their booking!
This is customer service at Air Canada, in which they don’t own up to their mistakes!
