James and I have been friends for over 10 years. We always had an eye for each other but it took us forever to figure that out. We started dating one-year-and-a-half ago and it has been a dream come true ever since. After all these years of knowing each other, he can still make my heart skip a beat and each day I fall in love with him again for different reasons.
James is from Newfoundland and I had always dreamt of going to visit that magical place. So we booked a flight in July. We arrived in St. John’s on Friday July 19 at 9am. We went for breakfast and walked around town. The sun was shining so we went and toured the amazing and breathtaking views of Cape Spear, which is known as one of the four corners of the world. We walked all around the trails and every once in awhile you could see whales in the ocean. It was truly amazing and breathtaking. I couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque day in Newfoundland.
James and I found a quiet spot where we could sit and relax while taking in the views of Cape Spear. This is where my dream came true, he asked me to marry him. It was the perfect location and he could not have made it any better. My proposal was better than anything I had ever dreamed off.
So a small town Nova Scotia girl went to Newfoundland and not only did she get screeched in, she got engaged to the man of her dreams!
