For the love of gold, Aliant, if you’re going to buy up every second of CBC commercial time can you please find a new song? If I hear Suzie MacNeil’s “Believe” one more time, I’m going to let the shotputters and javelin tossers practise with my TV set. We get it already.

  1. Let’s lay it on the line, Coasters. Only 1 of the 3 bloggers here owns a TV set. The one who does – Sue – wants to destroy her set. Somehow – miraculously, I’ve managed to cover this Olympics without regular access to a TV. I use the word “cover” loosely. In a “man on the street” kinda way. Like a total ignoramus media hack would. Can we pat ourselves on our backs yet? This has been a marathon of IM-ing, online feeds, chip eating and gossip-mongering. I just want to congratulate myself and my team-mates for doing such great-armchair work!
