Shine up them dancin’ shoes, folks. Word around the campfire is there’s going to be a flash mob tonight at the Joel Plaskett show at Celebration Square. A video of the choreography for Plaskett’s “Nowhere With You” has been circulating the interwebs for a few days, giving you dancing machines the chance to take part.
Now, I’m new to this whole idea…but aren’t these things were supposed to take people by surprise? Regardless, this is a pretty cool way to get involved in the Games hoopla. Ok dancers, you’ve got eight-ish hours to learn THIS:

The show kicks off at 7pm at Celebration Square (aka Grand Parade). Bring your mittens, and your moves.

This was an awesome idea, but poorly executed in the sense that given the amount of people crammed into Parade Square, there was no feasible way this could’ve been done effectively. I spent the entire night crammed into the back of a man who refused to budge an inch, which made dancing pretty much impossible.
I did notice some people dancing, though – so that was kind of neat! I couldn’t see the screen, but maybe if the “moves” had been projected onto it for all to see there would’ve been a better response. 🙂
