  1. Jen McGowan here: Quick amendment, I meant you can sometimes buy used bikes at freewheeling and they are starting to do more LOCAL bike tours, hikes, etc. There’s lots of great biking in Nova Scotia…that’s the kind of tour gift I’d promote giving! Lots of companies are realizing the biking potential NS has…do a quick google search and compare the different NS options you find! Try a few different local tours out!

  2. To hell with the Ecology Action Center. Know what I want for a gift ? A good paying job on an oil rig or a mine! The Ecology Action Center ie the anti-Progress League tries to block literally every single useful resource exploration/development project. Offshore drilling. Onshore drilling. The Goldboro LNG Plant. The Dufferin gold mine. Uranium mining and exploration. Cutting trees. Fish farming. Modern agriculture. Jenn West from the Ecology Action Center is currently touring around to every town in N.S. to scare the shit out of the mostly elderly locals by lying her ass off about fracking. These environmentalists ARE the culture of defeat.
