The Memories Attack at the Vogue Theatre
Remember when I said ZOMG about Barber Pig? Well, I was correct to use it then… and I believe that I’m equally correct in my usage of it now. ZOMG!!!! That was one powerful two piece. How two people could produce so much fuzzy rock is beyond me.
The Just Barelys at the Vogue Theatre
I can honestly say that this was the best Just Barelys set that I’ve ever seen. And that is a tall order, because the JBs are always, always rad. As a rule.
The Superfantastics at the Vogue Theatre
SUPER. FANTASTIC. The Superfans were awesome. It was cool to see them on stage just after seeing them on the big screen. They’re cuter in person.
Barber Pig at Kid’s Corner Power Jam at the Bridge Street Mainstage Tent
OMG. Barber Pig was awesome. Every kid band was awesome. I couldn’t have asked for a better set to see first thing in the morning. In fact, I’m going to upgrade my OMG to a ZOMG!
The Got To Get Got at George’s Roadhouse
TGTGG literally filled the stage with their members. And filled the bar with their powerful rock.
The Stolen Minks at George’s Roadhouse
The Minks destroyed George’s with a super fast, loud and fuzzy set that knocked everyone out cold! They also perfected their comedic banter.
Thesis at George’s Roadhouse
Thesis opened the night at Georges, and he was super awesome. Everyone in the house was wearing tin-man shoes, and he included. Except for me. I was wearing sneakers.
Until nex time
This ends my coverage of Evolve 2008. Now it’s your turn to post pictures! There are a lot of things that I missed! The Palace Yurt! Your wild and crazy adventures! Et Cetera!
The aftermath
Here is a picture of the shops/food court/bazzar late Sunday morning. A few hours earlier this place was packed with people buying things from the many vendors set up in this area.
Battles!
..And here is the aforementioned band doing the aforementioned throwing-down.
And the crowd goes wild!
Pictured here is the crowd going wild as Battles throw down.
