Saturday afternoon found my intrepid travelling companion Tara Thorne and I hiking, portaging light drum gear, spilling Mike and Ikes in the blueberry bushes and trying not to catch some rays. We attended a mildly advertised show out of doors at a bunker in Duncan’s Cove with Dream Friends (the keen organizers), Bird World, Quaker Parents, Quivers, Bloodhouse and Duzheknew.
Quivers begin their Slow Death tour of Canada this week and played their Halifax tour kick off show in what is undoubtedly the nicest venue around (see photographic proof of the beauty).
