Agreed….however,I find that these storylines are taken from real life crime:which is even more distrubing.
I hate cop shows, lawyer shows, CSI shows and anything else that shows pain, suffering and dead body parts. If I want escapism, I’ll watch Seinfeld reruns, thank you very much.And how about best selling books? It’s just more of the same – murder, cops and lawyers – the latter being the lowest lifeform on the planet. The media is obsessed with this horrific plate of shit.
It’s simple… Do not watch a show entitled Law and Order: Special Victims Unit…Or Crime Scene Investigation: Whatever state we decide to show crime scenes in.Me, I watch House MD, I know I am getting scenes with medical abnormalities and LOVE it thus it is my favorite show. I don’t watch Dog, the Bounty Hunter because he bores me. Solution found!!!
I agree! These shows go too far. On CSI for example (great show, but these types of plotlines are now tiresome), the female victims are always good looking women found half naked. What’s the message here? apparently average looking people are immune to rape and murder? And as for the pretty girls? Beware, apparently you’re just asking for it. Why is the media so obssessed with this type of violence? These shows need new plot lines. Not only are the storylines getting more and more disturbing, they are getting very repetitive and predictable too. Hopefully the obsession with this type of storyline will end soon so we can move on!
