I want to make a million jokes about Burton Cummings playing the Casino Nova Scotia Schooner Showroom on Oct 31 (and Nov 1, $77.50, 8pm). Ready? Let’s go: There is “No Time” for trick or treating, because Burton Cummings is playing on Halloween. Because we are going to a Burton Cummings concert, there will be “No Sugar Tonight,” so put away your little orange plastic pumpkin full of miniature Skittles packs. I swear I will claw out “These Eyes” if I see another perfectly reasonable lady dressed as a sexy nurse this Halloween at the Burton Cummings concert. I have almost no jokes about Regis Philbin also playing the Schooner Showroom in October. (Oct 3-4 8pm, $93). But maybe that’s where you will shine.
