Thee Oh Sees continue their productive march, putting out meaty albums with startling regularity. Their latest offering is a return to the usual riffy standard, after Castlemania’s charming patchwork of nuggets. “Chem-Farmer”’s relentless thundering drums and bass provide a nice foil to the perky keyboard, the creepy falsetto/monster voice duet on “Crack In Your Eye” balances out the spooky jam; both are great examples of what makes Thee Oh Sees so memorable. Dark yet goofy; droning yet catchy, Carrion Crawler/The Dream goes well with an intense twist contest while staring into the eyes of the person you’d like to bone.

flossin' off on a natural charge bon voyage
