These Dartmouth darlings took two years to record their debut album, and it was so fucking worth the wait. Fans of the trio will find the energetic drumming and crushing guitar and bass they know and love, and will be blown away by how Frederick Lee’s crisp recording perfectly captures the killer vocal harmonies sometimes lost in barroom din and shitty PAs. “STD” and “Wet Shoes” make me want to be a dirty 16-year-old punk again, while “Sunshine” makes me wonder how I never noticed how sweet these long-haired troublemakers could sound.
