The Alderney Landing Theatre has been transformed into a little slice of Sin City (complete with casino games for the pre-and-post-show entertainment) for this year’s dinner theatre offering The Heist Before Christmas.
It’s the story of a couple of pairs of star-crossed lovers who reunite to do a holiday show in Las Vegas. It has a suitably zany plot involving a diamond heist, a restraining order and a heavenly visitation which ends fittingly on a happily-ever-after note.
The show is filled with musical numbers—both Christmasy and lounge-singery—and includes the some of the amusing audience-inclusive joking that is a hallmark of all dinner theatre entertainment.
Ticket prices include a three-course dinner catered by the new Dartmouth-based Wooden Monkey. Seasonal (and delicious) fun!
