If you’re stressing out over holiday gifts on a strict budget, your midnight sobbings are answered. This week, comic bookshop Strange Adventures releases a compilation CD featuring (mostly) local bands such as The Maynards, The Superfantastics, Rule of Thumb, Wordburglar, Laura Peek, The Memories Attack, Matt Reid, Sharp Like Knives, Windom Earle and more. The CD will set you back two dollars; all proceeds go to Bryony House, a local shelter for women and children.
