Since making jokes about celebrity deaths is a dodgy territory and I don’t want to “Gordon Lightfoot” myself, we will go back to music postings and inform you that Homo Duplex is releasing an online EP today. The band consists of The Maynards‘ bassist Kristina Parlee and Ron Bates of The Memories Attack. The duo (who also happen to be married) pulled a bunch of random musical adjectives out of a hat (“fast”, “slow”, “trumpet”, etc.) and wrote songs in the appropriate vein. You can download it for pay-what-you-can here: http://homoduplex.bandcamp.com

Yeah… fake death reports… not fucking funny. Go kill yourself (tee hee… just kidding!)
I’m quite fond of jokes when they’re actually funny.
Frank Sinatra is dead.
have more respect for your readers.
John Belushi = also dead.
And what are you talking about, “readers”? All of you guys just signed up today. You don’t “read” Scene and Heard. You’re just looking to start up some shit. As was I. Purpose = served.
I do read this column, and was appalled at the “joke”. I’m not sure your current approach is very wise.
