Experimental music is all well and good, but keep in mind that most experiments fail many times before success. It’s quite possible that one is just not smart enough to understand what Shalabi Effect is trying to do. It could quite possibly be the most brilliant thing ever, but who can understand what The Canadian Lethargy Association going “la, la, la” for two minutes accomplishes? It’s a joy when the group performs a song which even remotely resembles a melody.
