That Rich Aucoin guy…you’re familiar with him and his monster of a record right? Well, here’s the thing about Rich: He never stops. Since January 2008 he’s been plugging away at a film to pair with his latest release, We’re All Dying to Live, chopping and blending clips from public-domain films and making a visual partner-in-crime for his now highly praised album. This is the first time the completely finished product will be shown to the public so it’ll be a celebration, too. “We can’t all fit in my living room,” laughs Aucoin, who’ll make himself at home at the Khyber, going all out, trying his darndest to “recreate a Disney 4D experience,” enhancing what you see with DIY lighting, water effects and smell-o-vision. And like the charitable guy he is, proceeds from the door go straight to Feed Nova Scotia.

Thursday December 15, Khyber Centre for the Arts, 1588 Barrington Street, 8:30pm (doors at 7pm), pay what you can for Feed Nova Scotia
