If youre ready to get busy, perhaps you should direct your whiskers and tail towards the Khyber Institute for Contemporary Artss Contemporary Arts Summer Festival and the coinciding AT LAST Performance Series, scheduled for July 14 to August 16, 2008. Right now, theyre looking for proposals for on- and off-site performance and installation works, one-act plays, performed manifestos and any other project that in some way embodies the beloved building and its spirit, architecture, history and tenuous future as a space for artist production and camaraderie. Include a detailed written description (500 words max.) and support materials, an artist biography and statement (one page), CV and SASE (dont forget the postage) to: Khyber ICA Contemporary Arts Summer Festival, AT LAST Performance Series, 1588 Barrington Street, Halifax, NS, B3J 1Z6.
