So the first day of NXNE went off without a hitch. Day 2 is another story altogether. I woke up that morning and my worst fears had been realized. I was sick… Really sick. The kind of sick where all you can do is sleep and whine about how sick you are. Because of this i ended up missing some of the shows on day 2 that i had marked as absolutely essential. No Joy, Metz, Fucked Up, Sports, Slow Down Molasses, Brian Borcherdt, and The Descendents. Blerg.
I did manage to get out and see a couple of shows yesterday though and they were awesome. Being sick kept me from staying up crazy late and seeing Sheezer (the all-ladies weezer cover band who only do songs from Blue and Pinkerton) at Sneaky Dee’s. But i did manage to see Paper Lions which i was really looking forward to.
