Welcome to art school, Dr. O’Brien.

To our surprise the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design just released their “Framework for Sustainability”, the financial plan which was handed over to Marilyn More and the department of labour and advanced education last week.

At the same time, they announced that Dr. Daniel O’Brien (former president of Fredricton’s St. Thomas University) will step in as NSCAD’s acting president, allowing for time to find permanent replacement for David Smith. O’Brien’s one-year contract kicks into gear on May 15.

You can find the “Framework for Sustainability”, AKA your long weekend reading material here.
