A Yarmouth Oxmobile? Try a Yarmouth ROCKSmobile, am I right?
Music Nova Scotia crams four jam-packed days of performances, educational workshops and an awards show into Yarmouth for Nova Scotia Music Week 2009. The event will be held from November 5-8, 2009, and they are now accepting showcase submissions. The Nova Scotia Music Week showcase stages allow Nova Scotian acts “the opportunity to perform for a target audience of influential industry members including record label representatives, talent buyers, managers and media.” You know, if you’re into that sort of thing. Nova Scotia Music Week is using Sonicbids (www.sonicbids.com/NSMW09) as the preferred method of applying for showcase opportunies, but paper applications will still be accepted and can be found on their website. They ask that you also refer to the FAQs for the showcase submissions, which can be found on the website.
