Ah, the fun of an awards show!
Tickets for the Nova Scotia Music Week Gala Awards Show and Festival (in Yarmouth Nov 5-8) are available for sale starting Friday May 15, and they are limited, so, you know, keep that in mind. For $29.99 (plus convenience charge) the public can purchase a limited amount of premium floor seating. Premium seating puts you amongst the Music Nova Scotia award nominees and performers. Highlights from past shows have included performances by George Canyon, Mary Jane Lamond, Drum!, Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays, Classified and awards won by Yarmouth’s own Wintersleep and Ryan Cook. A limited number of festival wristbands are also on sale for $24.99 (plus convenience charge), and gives access to all the showcase stages during the four-day event. Tickets are available at www.ticketpro.ca, by phone at 1-888-311-9090 and all Ticketpro outlets across the province, including the Mariners Centre box office, City Drug Store in Yarmouth and the Saulnierville Pharmacy.

Yes, I think that pic is awesome. There are only 8 awards given out on the show though, it’s mostly about the music. We, in the office, are working hard to pull in a few “surprise” guests.
