Gather the gang this Tuesday morning
This Tuesday morning is Simon Thibault’s last time at the decks at CKDU, where he will be hosting his final episode of Morning Mood Music, the five year long running radio program featuring indie rock in Canada. “I started the show in 2004, and have loved doing it for five years, but I enrolled at King’s in the journalism program so I will be doing that full time,” says Thibault. “It’s been great, I got to meet amazing people, interview interesting musicians (like Jose Gonzalez and Joel Gibb from the Hidden Cameras) and play music every Tuesday morning for five years! I’m sad, but it’s time to start something new.” There’s hope yet for those who will miss Thibault’s radio manner. “Who knows, maybe I’ll do fill ins…”
