Anna Gilkerson, designer and founder of deux fm, was really happy to learn that Megan Leslie recently bought one of her suits. “I am pretty excited about Megan Leslie wearing deux fm and supporting our issues up against the stuffy/old white men, hahaaa,” Gilkerson jokes by email.
The super fashion-aware MP bought the suit (Evie blazer and the Jezebelle trouser) from Love Me, Boutique a couple of weekends ago. “She loves shopping at Love me, Boutique but rarely has time to shop so Chara (Love Me owner, Chara Kingston) gets things ready for her when she is in town. I think it is really cool that she shops there. Love me is a very cool boutique that only sells locally made and sustainable goods from clothes to cool baby toys to art to men’s underwear to jewellery! Megan supports that kind of thing in her words and also her actions, I love that.”
