  1. Sweet photo Scott!

The show was great but insanely sweaty. Everyone was probably hit with the same giant heat wave upon entry to the building. We spent the night in the “wet” section where I witnessed at least 5 spilled beers. As a result, people (including myself) were wiping out due to such slippery floors. It was funny and painful. The forum needs to invest in some better fans…or something…

  2. Amazing show indeed.
But I’m looking for the setlist. What they played and the order. Anyone keep track of that?

  3. Modest Mouse were awesome. The venue itself was TERRIBLE. Way too hot, and they ran out of water to sell half way through. Once you were in you were not allowed outside for fresh air which was is pretty inexcusable to me. Slap a bracelet on my wrist or stamp me on the way in or at least let me show my ticket to get back in. Forcing people to stay in such a cramped, hot area has bad news written all over it.

I had to leave during the encore because I’d been sweating for nearly 3 and a half hours straight and they were out of water. I drank 3 bottles while I was there and not once did I have to go to the bathroom. There was a girl outside the venue suffering from heat stroke, pale as a ghost and obviously in bad shape and when we asked a Security guard for some help (i.e. some water or an ambulance) she said “no”. It took ten minutes before someone finally yelled for help and security actually got paramedics to the girl. INEXCUSABLE!

I will never go to a show in the Forum again. Not during the summer, until they know how to manage it.

  4. I actually found the venue (other than the temperature) to be better than I expected going in. The acoustics weren’t totally ‘concrete box’ and I expected them to sell as many tickets as they could physically stuff bodies into the place but I still had plenty of elbow room halfway back. I agree running out of water was just bad preparation but at least it was reasonably priced.

Next time a couple of fans or a procedure for getting in/out and I’d go there again.

Didn’t hurt that the Mouse put on an amazing show of course. 🙂

  5. I agree with was poorly organized. People who patiently waited outside for an hour and a half in line got shafted when there was a free for all for the door.

Since it was requested, here’s the set list.

    Dramamine
    Satellite Skin
    Invisible
    Satin in a Coffin
    Gravity Rides Everything
    Float On
    The World At Large
    Doin’ the Cockroach
    3rd Planet
    Education
    Autumn Beds
    Dashboard
    Parting of the Sensory
    The View

    Encore:
    Blame it on the Teetons
    I Came as a Rat
    Paper Thin Walls
    Spitting Venom

  6. My best friend jumped onto stage at the end of the show and ripped the set list off the floor, put on there with white hockey tape. One day later, it has a prominent spot in her apartment LMAO Awesome show, hot as all get-out, but I’d do it again. They could do the Metro next time for sure. My hoodie is super comfortable, too 🙂

  7. Saw the concert, got dragged to hit by a (former) friend… Don’t get me wrong, it was a pretty good show, but to be fair it has to have been way way way over the top, the most over-hyped show to EVER come to town…

The only thing that is more over-blown hype is local boy Joel Plastic Emeregency… His website ACTUALLY Compares himself to Led Zeppelin… No I got that wrong… The BEST of Led Zeppelin… The BEST…!!!!

What is with these kids today that have absolutely no fucking sense of modesty… MODEST Mouse..??? I don’t think so…

The only saving grace is we didn’t get suckered for scaplers tickets… Anyone who paid a dime over printed ticket price for MM is a fucking loser….

  8. A buddy gave me a face value ticket an hour before the show, saving me from the sleeze bag scalpers.
Great, GREAT show, however it was obvious that most of the 18 year olds there had no idea that MM has songs other than Dashboard or Float On. Their version of Doin’ the Cockroach (my fav MM song) was 10 times the album version, unf*cking believable. Yet, most of the kiddies had their hands in their pockets or went to find a beer. All I can say is: you suck.
Oh, and to all you whingers that complained about the heat… drink some water beforehand and wear a t-shirt. You’ll live. Honest.
