From attending her first ECMW conference to working on her first full-length album, 2013 will be a busy year for singer-songwriter Kim Harris. She'll be playing The Now Case on March 8 at One Block Barbershop which will feature 15 acts showcasing some of the best in the city from March 7-9. Harris said she will have a secret weapon, Margot Durling, who will be joining her on percussion and vocals. "She adds an entirely different level to my live show that I had no idea existed." This year will also be the first ECMW that Harris has attended. She will be singing with Heather Green and Christina Martin at their showcases and with Martin at the Gala. "I'm over-the-moon excited for it and am very interested in feeling what it is like to be in the middle of it all." She thinks it will be beautifully overwhelming and inspiring. Harris is also working on her first full-length album with Dale Murray. "I promise to put my entire heart's worth of energy and effort into it and make sure it is a genuine extension of myself and what I want to share."
