Congrats to Joel Plaskett, the sole local representation on the just-announced long list for the Polaris Music Prize. Plaskett made the 2007 shortlist with Ashtray Rock. There will be approximately one million blog posts about this list today, so instead of adding to the noise, all we will say is Jenn Grant was robbed. (Full list here.)
In other Plaskett news, he heads to Los Angeles on Tuesday for a pair of showcases at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. Joining him will be Three tourmate Rose Cousins and Christina Martin.
