JDiggz
Memoirs of a Playbwoy
Maxamus Entertainment
Can someone pass JDiggz a dictionary? Glance at the tracks on Memoirs of a Playbwoy and you’ll understand (“Whutchu Like” and “Bad Gyal”). But spelling is the least of his problems. The debut effort sees JDiggz trying to pull double duty as witty emcee and sensual R&B seducer, but the shift leaves the album with unevenness. But the production supporting JDiggz’s flow deserves top billing: the beats are big, juicy and will get you moving. The same can’t be said for the R&B material. Reggaeton-infused “Puush It” and “Make It Hot” are tracks leaving you wishing the rest was as interesting.
