The French, they love this guy. Xavier Dolan taken two features to Cannes, and they are ready to anoint him as Canada’s great filmmaking hope, even if he’s only in his early 20s. This is Dolan’s first film, which he wrote, directed, produced and acted in at age 19. That kind of talent and ambition makes you almost want to kill the guy, you know? It screens at 7pm Thursday at Carbon Arc, 1588 Barrington Street, third floor of the Khyber.
