In-Flight Safety tries the more eco-friendly balloon as transport

Buckle up—it’s going to be a bumpy flight. One of Canada’s favourite indie bands, In-Flight Safety, is back and is going to be playing a free show at the Tall Ships Festival. Off the scene for awhile, the band has been right back in the studio since its last tour and is looking to get a new record out (hopefully soon!).

Fans who come out on Saturday will get a sample of the new tunes. “We don’t have a new record out yet so we’ll play a couple of new songs,” says singer and guitarist John Mullane, “and a retrospective of songs we already have out.” In-Flight is eager to be back on the scene (and to get right back in the van as soon as the new record is out). Also, keep an eye out for some “locally produced acoustic versions of the band’s hits and some additional covers.” –Rachel Bloom
