Mayor Peter Kelly and the council gang invite you to public exhibition of the short-listed works for HRM’s 3rd Annual Contemporary Visual Art Purchase Program. The short-listed artists are Valerie Salez, Juan Ortiz-Apuy, Aimée Henny Brown, Yorodeo (Seth Smith and Paul Hammond) and Scott Bertram. Their work is on display in Halifax Hall, Halifax City Hall, from September 1 to October 3, opening reception Wednesday, September 7 from 5-7pm. The announcement of this year’s winner and runners-up will take place on Friday, October 14, so go team!
