Is there anything that Brian Borcherdt can’t do well? Between the Remains Of Brian Borcherdt discs and his Holy Fuck output, this guy is getting the reputation of being some sort of supergenius. And this new EP is no different, proving that the success of the first album is neither hoax nor fluke. The insanely propulsive electronic beats and rhythms HF creates are like the Chemical Brothers drag racing the Propellerheads on the Autobahn. Fast and dangerous, this stuff gets right in your chest and whips a crowd into a sea of writhing bodies. The only criticism is that it’s too damn short. But that’s why the repeat button was invented.
