Heather Rappard – formerly of estimable bitch-punkers Meat Curtains — also makes pretty, unnerving videos (check out the “heathersews” channel on YouTube to see blankets grow sequins and Chief Thundercloud in an moving aquarium t-shirt.) After successfully creating projections for this year’s Wearable Art Show, she’ll be doing more during The Chitz show at the North Street Church on Saturday. The end of the month will herald an even more elaborate project, when Rappard creates an installation using magnetic video cassettes and four TV screens for the Transfixed/Adam O’Reilly/Passion Party show at Lost and Found on May 27.
