It’s Friday! The day turned right around, didn’t it? Beautiful.
I’ve been listening to this song all day, from LCD Soundsystem‘s new album, This is Happening. I am on a big LCD/DFA/James Murphy kick recently (I am a lucky girl and will be seeing him in but a few short days here.) A lot of people are going on about the album’s first single, Drunk Girls, which I agree definitely approaches “Party Jam of the Summer” status (along with that Janelle Monae song) but the song I can’t get out of my head is “Dance Yrself Clean.” When those harmonizing voices kick in – ooh God. It’s toe-curling bliss. Happy weekend.
