Organizers just released the lineup forHa!ifax Comedy Fest, which runs April 19 through 26. Rich Hall’s coming. Apparently he has two shows on BBC4—Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive and Rich Hall’s Fishing Show. But you may remember him from such earlier comedy sketch and variety programs as Saturday Night Live. The material that guy came up with using a single piece of Plexiglas—that was comedy gold. Mark Critch, Cathy Jones and Mark Farrell from 22 Minutes are headlining too—no explanation given for Gavin Crawford’s absence, unless… trouble on the set, discord in the cast? It’s Critch I bet. I bet you it’s Critch. I never trusted that guy. Never. Craig Robinson, who plays Darryl Philbin on The Office, will also appear. Deborah DiGiovanni, who has stints on MuchMusic and CBC Radio, and the crew from the CBC Radio show The Debaters, who will record live on Monday April 21, are also on the bill.
