Just a reminder for all the artistically minded souls and venue-having mofos who’ve been meaning to get involved with this year’s Go North! festival, but haven’t quite gotten around to making their intentions concrete: the deadline for artists and showcasing venues to sign up for the festival is July 18.
So, if you’re a north-end artist who wants to show their stuff at the September 6 festival, (which celebrates the north end’s creativity and culture) — or if you’ve got a north-end gallery, studio, business or non-profit organization and a love of art and random visitors and artsy random visitors — drop the folks behind the fest a line now, at northend@gonorthhalifax.com. (I’d do it myself, but my stick drawings are pretty lame, and I live in New Glasgow.)
