Aunt Melba is the larger-than- life, feather boa-bedecked alter ego of comedian Tanya Belliveau, and she’s come to the fringe to offer her unique opinions on everything from aging gracefully—which, according to her, involves copious quantities of duct tape and Depends undergarments—to a Maritimer’s place in the after life (apparently we’re too wet to burn). She draws plenty of laughs with her “jeezly” and “me lover”-sprinkled monologue, although with a run time of only 20 minutes, she certainly leaves the audience wanting more.
